Matrix 2 blades are up to 33% lighter than traditional blades!  This reduced weight means reduced fatigue and with stainless steel runners, the blades have harder edges and hold the  edges longer.

The 440C Stainless steel runner is maintenance free and holds edges longer for a longer lasting blade
Runner is inset into chassis and permanently secured using 3 axels
Parallel chassis allows for accurate sharpening
Chassis guard helps shield against scratches and scuffs in the tail of the blade
