The CCM 4R hockey gloves use almost entirely NHL† nylon for great breathability, durability, and a lightweight feel.  The cuff roll features synthetic leather for a traditional look.  The 4R glove uses CCM's ethafoam for good durability.  Ethafoam uses different density foams for a good protection and fit.  CCM has also used plastic insert in the cuff for increased wrist protection. The liner is a comfort liner with anti-microbial treatment and the palm is made from leather with reinforced leather overlay in the palm.  The fit of the glove is a traditional contoured fit  that reduces negative space in the glove giving a more form fitting design to ensure maximum energy transfer from a players hands into their stick.  Anatomical breaks in the backhand further enhance the more natural movement and a 3-piece articulate thumb allows the glove to move with the natural contours of your hand.
