The Bauer Vapor X40 elbow pads uses a 3-piece which essentially has segmented the forearm and elbow guard into two pieces. This offers good player mobility whilst maintaining protection. The X:40 elbow pad features lightweight Vent Armor foam in the bicep and slash guard and the form fitting design is ideal for players looking for a low profile pad with good protection and is compliemented with dual density foam joint protection and molded plastic elbow caps. The Bauer Vapor X40 elbow pads use standard velcro elastic straps on the bicep guard and slash guard with the Anchor wrap strap across the middle of the pad. A Thermo Max+  liner gives increased comfort with moisture wicking to keep the pad dry.
