New for 2011- a helmet that has the look of the pros at an affordable price. Constructed from a full injected polycarbonate shell that is designed specifically for high impacts in a cold environment.  A stainless steel flat wire cage is designed to maximise the vision of the goalie and be resistant to puck impact.  Inside the mask the three layers of foam are mechanically attached to the inside of the mask.  The black foam layer is designed to adsorb impact and the grey inner gel layer is designed for extra comfort and a better fit.  Bauer's unique HEX foam is also present to adsorb maximum energy for those times when the puck hits the shell at speed.  The NME 5 also has a newly designed chip cup that ensures better levels of comfort and sweat drain.
